In accordance with its statutes, the cooperative society seeks to provide the services necessary for the activity of its members by :

1. The purchase of raw materials and inputs required for agricultural activity on behalf of its members.
2. The preservation, processing, storage, adaptation, transport and sale of agricultural products resulting from the activities of its members.
3. The loan of agricultural machinery, equipment and facilities required for its members’ activities, with appropriate disposal.
4. Training and advice for its members.

In addition, the cooperative may engage in any activity aimed at promoting its members. In this respect, the cooperative has joined the participative platform for the development of the pistachio sector in the Gafsa region, created as part of the “Irada” program, a support program for sustainable economic development.

This platform is made up of seven professional agricultural structures: four agricultural development associations and three cooperative companies.

Thanks to the Erada program, the cooperative has received equipment for adding value to pistachio products.
The equipment consists of :

• Pistachio shelling machine
• Pistachio crushing machine
• Pistachio drying machine
• Large electronic scale with 500 kg capacity
• Small electronic scale, 50 kg capacity
• 2 stainless steel tables
